How to Use the Kaduct Site Measure Web App

Open measure.kaduct.co.uk on your device and select the type of fitting you want to record.

Enter the required dimensions and options shown on screen. The available measurements will change depending on the fitting selected, helping you capture the information required to manufacture or detail that item.

Continue adding fittings as you work through your site measures.

Once your list of site measures is complete, you can export the job as a file which can be saved, emailed or sent back to the drawing office.

Importing into CAMduct

Kaduct Site Measure has been designed to work alongside the CAMduct Translator.

If your company uses the CAMduct Translator, the exported Site Measure file can be uploaded and converted into a structured CAMduct import, reducing the need to manually recreate every measured fitting when you return to the office.

Your company’s CAMduct configuration and mappings are handled by the Translator, allowing the Site Measure app itself to remain simple and easy to use on site.

Tips for Taking a Measure

Always check the fitting diagram and dimension labels before entering your measurements.

Pay particular attention to:

  • Sizes
  • Lengths
  • Offsets and their direction
  • Bend angles
  • Large and small ends of reducing fittings
  • Flat sides on transitions and offsets
  • Connector or joint requirements
  • Any additional information the drawing office will need to understand how the fitting is intended to be installed

Where necessary, use the Fabrication Notes section provided to record information that isn’t covered by the standard dimensions.

No Software Installation Required

Kaduct Site Measure runs directly in your web browser. There is no software to install, and it can be used on a phone, tablet or computer.

For quicker access on site, you can also add measure.kaduct.co.uk to your phone or tablet’s Home Screen so that it behaves more like a regular app.
